What the Ruta de los Cenotes Is
The Ruta de los Cenotes is the road and surrounding area near Puerto Morelos known for cenotes, jungle-style adventure parks, ziplines, ATV tours, swimming, and quieter places away from the beach crowd.
Calling it “the jungle” can be a little broad, but the feeling is definitely different from the Hotel Zone or Playa del Carmen. It is greener, quieter, and more spread out.
